For platforms

Add group payments to your checkout.

Integrate PayShare once. Your merchants offer multi-payer checkout without rebuilding their booking or payment flow.

One path through checkout.

  1. Customer books
  2. Chooses Split with others
  3. Group pays their shares
  4. Session completes
  5. Platform completes the booking

One extra option in your existing checkout.

You keep Pay now. Split with others sits beside it for eligible purchases. PayShare runs the group session.

Integrate once.

You add PayShare to your product once. Each merchant connects their own Stripe account. This is a partner integration. Installing the app does not switch PayShare on for every merchant.

  1. 1Installs PayShare on the Stripe account that receives their payments.
  2. 2Chooses “A platform manages my checkout”.
  3. 3Selects your platform and gets a one-time connection code.
  4. 4Enters that code in your PayShare setting. Your server redeems it.
  5. 5You turn PayShare on for that property. Split stays off until you do.

Who does what.

Your platform keeps

  • The booking or order
  • Inventory
  • Pricing
  • Customer journey
  • Fulfilment
  • Your normal checkout

PayShare handles

  • Creating the group session
  • Participant joining
  • Individual shares
  • Payment progress
  • Session completion
  • Returning the completed result

How a payment moves.

Shares are charged on the merchant’s Stripe account. You confirm the booking from Stripe, not from the browser return.

  1. Platform checkout
  2. Start PayShare session
  3. PayShare
  4. Participants pay on the merchant’s Stripe account
  5. Session complete
  6. Platform confirms the booking from Stripe

Your merchants shouldn't need to become developers.

After your integration exists, a merchant installs PayShare from the Stripe App Marketplace and connects to your platform with a one-time code. They do not build the integration.

Why add it.

  • Group purchases without one customer fronting the total
  • An extra checkout option, without replacing your booking flow
  • One platform integration, offered to eligible merchants
  • PayShare manages the multi-payer experience

Built to fit into an existing checkout.

Your server starts the session with a Stripe order proof on the merchant’s account. PayShare reads the amount from Stripe.
